Where to put trash

Recycling bins are under the kitchen sink. There are 4 separate bins: organic (brown), plastic/metal (yellow), paper (blue), unsorted waste (grey).

What goes where

ORGANIC: food scraps, coffee grounds, napkins. PLASTIC: bottles, containers, cans. PAPER: newspapers, cardboard, paper. GREY: everything else that cannot be recycled.

Collection schedule

Waste collection is door-to-door. Put the correct bag outside the building door before 7 AM: Monday=organic, Tuesday=plastic, Wednesday=paper, Thursday=organic, Friday=unsorted.

Extra trash bags

Spare trash bags are under the kitchen sink. Use the correct color for each type of waste. Do NOT leave trash outside the bins or in the hallway.
